The operator

Which legal entity operates the service

NairaRefinery AI is a business designation employed by the entity that owns and manages this platform and its associated trading system.

The operating company is the entity you contract with when you accept our Terms of Use and establish an account. The entity's official legal designation, organisational structure, registered details and corporate group affiliation are detailed in the client agreement provided during account setup, and can be obtained on demand via the contact methods outlined in the "Obtaining documentation" subsection below.

Given that business organisation, registration information and operational arrangements may vary over time, we intentionally do not present them as static content within promotional materials. The client agreement and supporting documentation we furnish represent the definitive reference material; in instances of discrepancy between this page and such documentation, the documentation shall take precedence.

Group companies and service providers

Specific operations - infrastructure provision, transaction settlement, pricing information, identity verification systems - are performed by external specialist organisations pursuant to formal contracts. The nature of these external providers and the methods by which they process your personal information are detailed in our Privacy Policy. We do not publish provider names on this page.

Framework

The regulatory framework we work within

We describe here the type of obligations that govern the service, rather than naming authorities or quoting reference numbers, which belong in the formal documentation.

  1. 01

    Client identification

Every account is verified before funding, trading or withdrawal, in line with the KYC and AML controls described on our KYC & AML page.

  2. 02

    Financial-crime prevention

Sanctions and risk screening, ongoing transaction monitoring, internal escalation procedures and record retention for the periods required by applicable law.

  3. 03

    Handling of client money

Client balances are recorded separately from the operating funds of the business, and payouts are returned to a verified instrument in the client's own name.

  4. 04

    Fair and clear communication

Costs, spreads and any applicable fees are published in your account and on our pricing page. We do not promise specific returns, and all promotional material carries a risk warning.

  5. 05

    Data protection

Personal data is processed on a defined lawful basis, retained only as long as necessary, and protected by access controls and encryption in transit and at rest.

  6. 06

    Complaints handling

A written internal complaints procedure with acknowledgement, investigation and a substantive reply within the timeframe stated when your complaint is logged.

Where local legislation establishes requirements more stringent than those stated above, the more stringent standard shall govern clients based in that region.

Availability

Jurisdictions served and excluded

The service is offered only where we are permitted to offer it. Availability is assessed at registration on the basis of your country of residence, and it can change.

Where the service is offered

Accounts may be opened by residents of the countries listed as eligible in the registration flow of your account. If your country appears in that list and you pass verification, you can proceed. If it does not appear, the service is not available to you.

Where the service is not offered

  • Nations and areas subject to applicable international economic penalties or trade restrictions.
  • Regions in which delivering such services to non-professional customers requires regulatory approval that we have not obtained.
  • Regions assessed as presenting elevated risk of money laundering or financial misconduct under current regulatory frameworks.
  • Any territory we have chosen to exclude for internal risk reasons.

No solicitation

Nothing on this website is directed at, or intended for distribution to or use by, any person in a jurisdiction where such distribution or use would be contrary to local law. Accessing this site from an excluded jurisdiction does not create a right to use the service. If you move to an excluded jurisdiction while holding an account, tell us - the account may need to be restricted or closed and any balance returned to you.

Documentation

How to request corporate and compliance documents

Clients, prospective clients and professional counterparties may request our corporate and compliance documentation. We provide it on request rather than publishing it openly.

What can be requested

  • The current client agreement and the schedule of costs applicable to your account.
  • An overview of our customer due diligence and identity verification processes.
  • Our procedure for handling grievances and the mechanism for escalation.
  • Privacy terms regarding the processing of your personal information.

How to make the request

  1. 01

    Write to us

Use the contact route on our contact page. Use "Regulatory documentation request" as the email subject.

  2. 02

    Identify yourself

Indicate whether you are an established account holder (providing the email linked to your account) or a new applicant, and specify which materials you require.

  3. 03

Contact

Regulatory and compliance questions

Queries concerning our regulatory status, our compliance framework, or matters requiring escalation should be directed through compliance channels rather than standard customer service.

How do I raise a compliance question?

Send it through the contact page and label it "Compliance". Supply the associated email if you maintain an existing account, and outline your inquiry concisely.

How do I make a formal complaint?

Use the same route and mark the message "Complaint". You will receive an acknowledgement, a reference and an indication of the timeframe for a substantive reply. If the outcome does not resolve the matter, the reply will explain the further escalation options available to you.

How do I report suspicious activity or misuse of our brand?

Submit through the abuse reporting mechanism. Reports of fraudulent attribution of NairaRefinery AI in communications, promotional material or counterfeit platforms should be submitted via this channel for appropriate intervention.

Are institutional or press enquiries handled here?

Yes - send them through the contact page with a clear subject line and they will be routed to the right team.
